One of the most beloved figures in MMA, 68-year-old Bruce Buffer, was honored by the UFC on Saturday night.
Recently, the organization’s official announcer celebrated 30 years of his career. A tribute video was aired during the UFC Houston broadcast.
A tribute to the professional, known as “The Voice of the Octagon,” is undoubtedly well deserved, as he set the standard and paved the way for announcers to develop their own unique styles.
Buffer, who is completely dedicated to his work, stated that he has no plans to retire anytime soon.
Despite that, the veteran is not yet a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, but there is no doubt that sooner or later that moment will come.
