A United Effort to Deliver Urgent Relief
On December 3, 2025, the World Boxing Council (WBC) and WBC Muay Thai launched a strong humanitarian mission in Bangkok, Thailand. Their goal was simple and direct: deliver essential supplies to families hit hard by severe floods in Hat Yai, Songkhla, and southern Thailand. In addition, the operation showed how the combat sports world can unite to create fast, meaningful impact during a national crisis. this is an urgent WBC Thailand Flood Relief 2025.
Four Trucks Filled With Essential Supplies
At 14:30 local time, four supply trucks reached the Disaster Relief Coordination Center (CDC) at the National Aviation Museum. Major General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi, President of WBC MuayThai and the Asian Boxing Council, led the delegation. Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Thailand’s Deputy Minister of Defense and Director of the CDC, received the goods. Their teamwork ensured fast distribution to the regions most affected by the flooding.
Champions and WBC Cares Join the Mission
This relief mission gained even more strength thanks to world champions and global boxing legends. Oleksandr Usyk, Roberto Durán, and leaders from the WBC Cares Foundation, including Co-Chairs Chris Manzur and Jill Diamond, joined the effort. In addition, nearly 50 members, delegates, and families attending the 63rd Annual WBC Convention and the 1st WBC MuayThai Convention supported the mission. Their presence showed strong global unity and deep compassion from the boxing community.
Delivering Hope to Southern Thailand
The Disaster Relief Receiving and Relay Coordination Center, created by the Thai government, serves as a crucial hub for national aid. Through this coordinated effort, WBC and WBC MuayThai aimed to provide fast support and restore hope to families facing serious hardship.
This mission became more than a donation. Instead, it turned into a powerful message of unity. By working together, the WBC, WBC MuayThai, and WBC Cares proved that the fighting spirit reaches far beyond the ring and into the heart of every community in need.
