The World Boxing Organization (WBO) and Jake Paul’s Boxing Bullies Foundation joined forces to bring joy and inspiration to Salinas, Puerto Rico, with their Three Kings Day celebration. The event, held on January 4, 2024, aimed to support local young athletes and promote a message of empowerment through boxing. More than 300 children participated in this unforgettable day.
The Organizations Behind the Event
The WBO, founded in 1988, is a globally recognized sanctioning body dedicated to promoting boxing while supporting youth development through community outreach programs.
Boxing Bullies, created by Jake Paul, focuses on combating bullying by fostering confidence, leadership and resilience in children through the sport of boxing.
Celebration Highlights
The event was attended by boxing stars such as Amanda Serrano, Teófimo López, Emanuel Navarrete and Rafael Espinoza, who shared time with the young attendees.
Serrano and Lopez offered motivational stories, while Espinoza added a cultural touch by performing music with a mariachi band.
The children received toys, bicycles, boxing equipment and educational materials, leaving a positive impression on all those present.
The atmosphere was full of energy, with activities such as arcade games, typical Puerto Rican food and interactive sessions with the champions.
WBO President Gustavo Olivieri expressed his pride: “This event highlights the power of sport to transform lives and inspire future generations.”
