UCC Ecuador
Circle November 14th on your calendar, fight fans. The Ultimate Combat Challenge (UCC) is officially heading back to Ecuador, bringing a stacked card of international matchups with it. Both men and women are set to step into the cage across pro and amateur MMA, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Local promoter Francisco “Pancho” Bajana—best known as the head coach at 8 Armas Team—dropped the news earlier this Monday.
Opening the Door for Local Talent
To pull off an event of this scale, the Panama-based promotion teamed up with Liga De Fuego, one of Ecuador’s premier combat sports outlets. The goal behind the partnership is simple: give local up-and-comers and seasoned pros a real platform. Fighters who shine here won’t just win in front of their home crowd; they’ll also get a shot at competing on future UCC cards across Latin America and beyond.
“This is an opportunity for athletes, managers, and coaches to reach out to provide that opportunity for skilled athletes to take that next step,” Bajana explained.
More Than Just a Paycheck
Getting on a UCC Ecuador card does a lot more for a fighter’s career than just padding their record. The promotion actually invests in building its athletes’ names. If you’re on the roster, you get professionally shot social media commercials, custom fight posters, and interview spots on local and international media outlets. Plus, the live show itself is built from the ground up to be a loud, electric night out that the whole family can enjoy.
Still Time to Get on the Card
Fighters from Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela have already locked in their spots for November 14th, but the matchmakers aren’t done yet. If you’re a fighter, coach, or manager looking to test your skills on an international stage, there’s still a window to sign up. Venue details will be announced soon, so keep an eye on Fajador Media for the latest matchups and updates.
