Sherilyn Guerrero
The Guerrero name still carries serious weight in pro wrestling, and it is about to get a new chapter. Sherilyn Guerrero, daughter of the late WWE legend Eddie Guerrero, will make her official in-ring debut next month. She has spent nearly a year learning the ropes at Reality of Wrestling (ROW), the Texas City school and promotion run by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. After months of quiet preparation behind the scenes, she is finally stepping under the bright lights.
Chaos at the Sherri Martel Classic
Her path to the ring started with a volatile confrontation at ROW’s 2026 Sherri Martel Classic. Five-year veteran Mystii Marks cornered the newcomer, blaming Sherilyn for a last-minute tournament shakeup and a tough loss to WWE NXT’s Layla Diggs. The shouting match didn’t stay verbal for long. Marks blindsided Sherilyn with a flurry of right hands and stomps before planting her with a sit-out slam. Bruised but unshaken, Sherilyn pulled herself up and demanded a match.ROW officials quickly made it official: Sherilyn, carrying the nickname “Latina Heat,” will face Marks on Saturday,November 14.
A Date That Means Everything
That November 14 date isn’t just another Saturday on the wrestling calendar. It falls just one day after the 21st anniversary of her father’s death. Eddie Guerrero, a beloved former WWE Champion, passed away from heart failure on November 13, 2005, at just 38 years old. WWE inducted him into its Hall of Fame five months later. Sherilyn isn’t the first of his daughters to lace up a pair of boots, either; her older sister, Shaul, spent time in WWE’s developmental system from 2011 to 2012.
Doing It Her Own Way
Carrying a legendary last name comes with heavy expectations, yet Sherilyn refuses to be boxed in. On the 2 Hard 2 Fast Podcast, she explained that while she will always represent her family proudly, she intends to write her own story.Because her father gave her the chance to grow up outside the wrestling bubble, she was able to wait until her heart was truly in it. Now, she enters the ring entirely on her own terms.
