MIAMI – July 8, 2025 – COMBAT GLOBAL announced today the full lineup of five Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) bouts that will air live on Thursday, July 17 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from Miami on YouTube worldwide and on Samsung TV Plus in the United States.
The July 17 event will be broadcast live, free of charge and in Spanish and English on Combate Global‘s official YouTube channel.
It will also be available on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. on COMBATE GLOBAL’s Spanish and English channels.
In the welterweight (170 lbs.) main event, undefeated 22-year-old sensation Jaden Ortega (4-0) will face a much more experienced opponent for the third consecutive time in Ivan “Choko” Castillo (23-17).
Ortega, a native of Spokane, Washington, is the new rising star from Sik Jitsu, the same camp that trained former world champion Julianna Peña and Juliana Miller, the latter being the winner of season 30 of The Ultimate Fighter reality show.
With this bout, Ortega will be making his fifth professional fight, having already faced opponents with a combined total of 51 professional fights.
So far, the young American has not been tested significantly, earning three knockouts in his four wins, including two consecutive first round finishes.
For his part, Castillo, a native of Ensenada, B.C., Mexico, and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, represents Ortega’s most serious challenge to date.
At 34, Castillo has earned 16 of his 25 professional victories by technical knockout or submission, and is widely recognized for his relentless stamina and aggressive ground and pound.
In a previously announced strawweight (115 pounds) bout, three-time professional boxing world champion Kenya “Mexican Queen” Enriquez (1-0) will face Hannah Brobyskov (0-1).
A native of Tijuana, B.C., Mexico, Enriquez, 31, who holds the WBC interim world flyweight (112 pounds) boxing championship and an overall professional record of 28-1, with 11 of her victories coming by way of (T)KO, made a spectacular entrance to MMA at COMBATE GLOBAL’s all-female “Combate Female” event on March 13, defeating previously undefeated Hayley “Bloody” Valentine by unanimous decision.
Brobyskov is a 30-year-old resident of Seattle, Washington, seeking her first professional victory.
Before turning professional, Brobyskov amassed a 2-1 amateur record.
A second women’s bout to be contested at atomweight (105 pounds) will see two new undefeated stars, Janet Garcia (3-0) and Maria “La Felina” Maldonado (1-0), square off in La Jaula.
Born in Mexico, Garcia, who immigrated to the U.S. with her family when she was 9 years old, is a 34-year-old resident of San Jose, California, and a 10-time amateur Muay Thai champion with an overall record of 22-4 in Thailand’s national sport.
Maldonado, 24, from Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., Mexico, is a former national kickboxing champion and an outstanding amateur boxer.
Maldonado made her professional MMA debut at La Jaula on April 24, scoring a second round TKO (4:04) against fellow Mexican Valeria Gomez.
In other undercard action, undefeated Jonathan “Robocop” Astudillo (3-0) will return to COMBATE GLOBAL after showing a ferocious display of striking and stopping Trevor Schnurpel in the third round (:27) with a body shot on April 24.
Astudillo, of Santiago, Chile, will face undefeated former pro boxer (5-0) and now MMA prospect Marcelo Reyes (2-1), a resident of Weslaco, Texas, who made his COMBATE GLOBAL debut on April 10, defeating Sedric Richard by TKO (knockout) in the second round (4:26) of their fight.
Opening the card will be a lightweight (155 lbs.) bout between undefeated Quentin “No Ordinary Cowboy” Camacho (2-0), of Whittier, Calif. and Adrian “Joe” Martinez (0-1), of Ensenada, B.C.
