Ignacio Bahamondes
The UFC Seattle card will undergo a change: Samuel Sanches has been injured and is out of the event. Following his withdrawal, Ignacio Bahamondes will be Tofiq Musayev‘s new opponent.
The change was confirmed by MMA Junkie’s Nolan King this Thursday morning.
“La Jaula” returns to the octagon after losing to Rafael Fiziev in the co-main event of UFC Baku. The defeat ended a three-fight winning streak. Prior to that bout, he submitted Jalin Turner at UFC 313.
Now, the experienced Chilean striker will look to return to his winning ways and secure his climb back into the Top 15 of the lightweight rankings.
Musayev is coming off a stoppage loss in his debut against Myktybek Orolbai at UFC Baku. The Azerbaijani is best known for being a former Rizin FF champion. Tofiq is also recognized for his heavy-handed exchanges, boasting 18 victories by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Seattle will take place on March 28 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
