In a spectacular showing, the Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts franchise recorded over 500,000 live viewers. Consequently, this remarkable feat aggregated its largest global audience reach in company history. The thrilling season premiere broadcasted live from the EstrellaTV studios in Burbank, California, setting the stage for an unforgettable year.

The live debut on EstrellaTV, a multiplatform network owned by MediaCo Holding Inc., was amplified through a stream on the network’s digital platforms. Combate Global’s MMA showcase aired in Spanish on the promotion’s Samsung TV Plus channel across the United States and Mexico.
Additionally, the event streamed live globally on the COMBATE GLOBAL YouTube channel and in English on FIGHTTIPS. This popular YouTube channel is owned by famed MMA content creator Shane Fazen. Ultimately, this strategic trio of media platforms proved to be a highly successful formula for reaching fight fans worldwide.
Outperforming Major Network Sports Competitors
Remarkably, U.S. viewership of the EstrellaTV broadcast significantly outperformed all segments of FOX Deportes’s live coverage of professional soccer in the exact same time slot. Total reach for the EstrellaTV multiplatform event easily exceeded an estimated aggregate of 100,000 households and video sessions.
EstrellaTV’s leadership naturally expressed strong enthusiasm regarding these historic results. “On nearly all streaming platforms, it was the leading content for the 24-hour window,” said Rene Santaella, Chief Operating Officer of MediaCo. “As a whole, it was the number one content for EstrellaTV’s FAST channel. This is a great start.”

However, the promotion did acknowledge a slight bandwidth problem experienced during the live YouTube streams. Fans watching on the main YouTube channel and FIGHTTIPS faced repeated interruptions. Therefore, COMBATE GLOBAL issued a swift apology to its dedicated fanbase.
“We understand fans experienced a problem with our live YouTube feed,” McLaren and Fazen shared in a joint statement. “We have fully corrected the issue, which was due to the bandwidth in our venue. This issue will not happen again.”
Star Power and Exciting Future Matchups
Thursday’s thrilling show was merely the first of 20 live events scheduled for 2026. The headline event featured the return of Mexican television star Jawy Mendez. Often called “The Mexican Jake Paul,” Mendez secured his second career win via TKO against Puerto Rican rival John “El Sicario” Padron.
Moving forward, all 19 remaining events will occur at the same venue. The EstrellaTV custom-designed studio is equipped with state-of-the-art television screens, a tunnel entrance, overhead lighting, and arena-style seating.
