Definitive Duel in Puebla: Belts at Stake!
This Saturday, July 5, the BUAP Arena will be transformed into the epicenter of action when the best fighters in Puebla face off in the State KickBoxing and MMA Championship. Competitors from four years old to consolidated professionals will showcase their talent in the ring and tatami. The tournament is endorsed by FENAKIB, WAKO Mexico, FAMM Puebla, the Mexican MMA Federation A.C., the Puebla Kickboxing Association and CONADE, ensuring an impeccable organization and official recognition.
Combat Categories
Athletes will compete in Light Contact and Kick Light on tatami, with divisions for beginners, intermediate and advanced. In addition, there will be special exhibitions such as dragon tail, board breaks and team foursomes. For black belts and advanced, ring bouts will include Low Kick and K1 style. Categories are organized by age, gender and weight, from cadets to veterans, ensuring fair matches in each bracket.
Schedule and Weighing
The action starts early: at 7:00 AM the medical check-ups and the official weigh-in will begin. At 9:00 AM sharp, the bell will ring for the first bout, kicking off an adrenaline-filled day. Spectators will enjoy live broadcasts, expert commentary and the best highlights of this hotbed of talent.
Belts and Awards
There will be medals for the top three places in each division. In addition, official commemorative belts will be awarded to state champions in key categories:
- Low Kick male, 15-18 years old (-60 kg)
- Low Kick male, 19-40 years old (-63.5 kg and -75 kg)
- Low Kick female, 15-18 years old (-60 kg)
- K1 men, 19-40 years old (-63.5 kg)
This event becomes the showcase where Puebla forges its future national and international champions.
