Family Sunday Brings the Action to Arena Mexico!
On Sunday, February 16, 2025,“Domingo Familiar” will take over Arena Mexico for an electrifying night of Lucha Libre action! Presented by CMLL, this star-studded event will kick off at 5 PM, bringing together some of the biggest names in Mexican wrestling for a night fans won’t forget. Domingo Familiar brings the action to Arena Mexico!
A Stellar Main Event
The main event will see the iconic Mystic, Atlantis and Blue Panther team up against the dangerous trio of Golden Angel, Deceased and Red Mist. Expect aerial action, technical brilliance and plenty of wrestling drama!
- Místico, born Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde, is an elite Mexican wrestler known for his aerial style. He has competed in CMLL, WWE as Sin Cara, AAA as Myzteziz, and is the current MLW World Middleweight Champion.
- Atlantis, a legendary Mexican wrestler, has been one of CMLL’s top stars since 1983. Known as El Idolo de los Niños, he has won multiple titles and has unmasked icons such as Villano III and Último Guerrero.
- Blue Panther, an icon of Mexican wrestling since 1978, has competed in CMLL, AAA and UWA. A skilled trainer and champion, he lost his mask in 2008 but remains a legend in lucha libre.
- Ángel de Oro, one of CMLL’s top stars, is a dual champion and part of Los Nuevos Ingobernables. A former tecnico turned rudo, he lost his mask in 2018, but remains a dominant force in lucha libre.
- Niebla Roja, a featured luchador in CMLL, is a former couples, trios and semi-completeweight champion. Formerly known as Ángel de Plata, he lost his mask in 2017, but remains a key figure in lucha libre.
National Title at stake
In a championship fight, Sphinx will put his National Semi-Complete Championship on the line against challenger El Valiente. This battle promises to steal the show, with both fighters bringing their best to win gold and glory!
Revenge and Rivalries
A sensational rematch is scheduled as La Fuerza Tapatía (Star Black, Fugaz and Explosivo) take on the brutal Bestias del Diablo (Akuma and Los Gemelos Diablo). Will the young acrobatic flyers be able to overcome the power of the beasts?
Women’s Team Meeting
Crowd favorites Skadi and La Jarochita will face off against the relentless duo of Zeuxis and Dark Silueta. Expect high-impact action and aerial attacks from these brave Luchadoras!
