The heavyweight Gable Steveson continues his run in MMA at the third edition of Mexico Fight League.
The Olympic gold medalist in wrestling, multiple-time NCAA champion, and former WWE wrestler Gable Steveson will face the experienced Mexican fighter Hugo Lizama. The fight can be watched live and free on MFL’s official YouTube channel.
This will be Lizama’s 15th fight in his professional MMA career, with 5 wins by KO/TKO and 4 by submission on his 11-3 record.
Currently, he has won four of his last five fights. “Pandamonio” is coming off a knockout victory over Victor de Paula at Budo Sento Championship 26.
“I’m excited to continue my run in MMA at Mexico Fight League 3. I have a great opportunity against one of Mexico’s most experienced veterans,” said Gable Steveson.
“This is all about growing and proving myself before taking the next step. I’m coming to handle my business and dominate. Tune in on February 19 and be part of this journey.”
In the co-main event, Irving Cardona returns to the MFL cage to face Edgar Escarrega, who has won six of his last seven fights and is considered one of the most experienced veterans in Mexico’s welterweight division.
The rest of the card will feature veterans and rising prospects from Mexico and Latin America.
MFL 3 will take place on February 19 at the Showcenter Complex in Monterrey, Mexico.
