Undefeated Mexican women’s MMA sensation Regina “Kill Bill” Tarin (7-0) extended her perfect record over the weekend with a one-sided, first round knockout of Yurivia Jimenez (3-2) in the flyweight (125 pounds/57 kilograms) co-main event at Tough N’ Extreme (TNX) in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The 21-year-old Tarin of Mexico City cracked her opponent with a straight right hand that planted Jimenez on her face and prompted the referee to stop the fight.
The win was Tarin’s fourth straight by way of knockout, and reinforced her standing as one of the top prospects out of Mexico.
Shortly after the victory, Tarin publicly asked the UFC to sign her.
