SOPASUPA 2025: South Park’s Ultimate Summer Bash
Seattle, get ready — the SOPASUPA: South Park Summer Party returns this Saturday with a full day of music, food, sports, and culture. From noon until late, the neighborhood will come alive with family-friendly fun and high-energy entertainment. Whether you love Lucha Libre, skateboarding, live music, or delicious street food, this is your must-attend summer event.
A Full Day of South Park Spirit
Starting at 12:00 PM, Cloverdale Street will close between 12th and 14th Ave S, turning the area into a vibrant festival zone. Over 60 vendors, artists, and community partners will showcase handcrafted goods, art, and local flavors. Families can enjoy the Kids Activity Zone, interactive performances, and games throughout the day.
Lucha Libre, Lowriders, and Live Beats
The Main Stage behind Uncle Eddie’s will deliver an exciting lineup. Swing It Seattle and West African Dance open the show, followed by two action-packed Lucha Libre Volcanica performances at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. After the evening match, the Lowriders Parade will cruise down 14th Ave S in style.
Music fans can catch Opus, The Pazifica, Heavy Bloom, Yambambo, and more. With back-to-back performances, the party won’t stop until nightfall.
Skateboarding and Kids’ Fun
Over at River City Skatepark, the Skate Party starts at 1:00 PM with live sets from Big Time, Bridge Kids, and The Fakies. There will be raffles, time trials, and at 3:30 PM, a special visit from the Seattle Fire Department. Kids can also enjoy free Skate Like a Girl lessons from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
