Bujutsu: The Traditional Martial Art of the Samurai
Bujutsu (武術) , which means “war technique”, is the basis of the Japanese martial heritage. Formerly reserved for the samurai, today it is practiced all over the world. It brings together arts such as Kenjutsu, Sojutsu and Jojutsu, taught in traditional schools called Ryu. Some focus on specific weapons such as the katana, while others, such as Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu, encompass an entire classical arsenal. Although often confused with the modern term Budo, Bujutsu maintains its focus on actual application in combat.
Community Drives Success
This achievement goes beyond medals. It demonstrates how institutional support and community commitment can open doors for the integral development of youth.
Supporting projects such as Bujutsu SANKENKAI KAN is a direct investment in the future of children and adolescents in Guanajuato.
