Albacete Fight Championship Returns Stronger in 2025
Albacete is once again embracing the thrill of combat sports as part of its 2025 Sports Fair. After last year’s overwhelming success, the Albacete Fight Championship is back for its second edition. This year promises even more action and excitement for fans of MMA and kickboxing.
City Support and Growing Popularity
During the official press conference, Sports Councilman Francisco Villaescusa reaffirmed the city’s strong commitment to new sporting disciplines. He emphasized that the 2024 debut became one of the most attended events of the Sports Fair, attracting nearly 1,000 spectators. Moreover, with extra seating around the octagon in 2025, the organization expects to break that record.
Fighters, Action, and Entertainment
The event takes place on Saturday, September 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Pabellón de la Feria. It unites top names from Spain’s combat sports scene. Among them are Vajtan Shanava, triple Spanish champion and current K1 professional, and Carlos García García, reigning champion and last year’s tournament winner.
The competition unfolds in three phases:
- Seven amateur kickboxing bouts.
- Six amateur MMA clashes.
- A Super Fight in K1 and a professional title fight with García defending his belt over five rounds.
In addition, the evening includes live music and raffles, creating a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. The event is officially supervised by the Kickboxing and Muay Thai Federation and the Spanish Wrestling Federation, ensuring top-quality organization.

Fans can purchase tickets at the Invictus Sport Center on Pablo Medina Street until Friday, September 5. They will also be available at the venue on fight night. Advance balcony seats cost €15, while chairs are €18. At the door, prices rise to €20 and €25.
