Mexico’s Martial Arts Star Shines in China
Mexico proudly celebrates a new martial arts hero—Professor Alberto Morales. Hailing from San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Morales made history at the World Kung Fu Championship in Emeishan, China. Competing in the elite events of Taijiquan (bare-hand form) and Taijijian (sword form), he stood tall against the world’s best, representing Mexico with pride, discipline, and heart.
From National Champion to World Podium Finisher
Morales’ journey to the global stage began at the National Wushu, Kung Fu, and Taijiquan Championship in Chihuahua. There, he claimed gold in Taijiquan and silver in Taijijian, securing his place among the top athletes selected for the world championship. Fueled by national success and global ambition, Morales gave everything he had—and it paid off.
A Victory Forged Through Discipline
With the unwavering support of his team, Guerreros de Acero, Morales turned years of focused training into international success. His performance in China wasn’t just a leap forward; it was redemption. After finishing just shy of the podium at the previous World Championship in Singapore, he returned with sharper technique, refined form, and renewed determination.
A Leader in Mexico’s Martial Arts Community
Professor Morales is more than a competitor—he’s a driving force behind martial arts education in Mexico. Through seminars, cultural outreach, and hands-on teaching, he promotes Wushu and Taijiquan nationwide. His recent win isn’t only a personal triumph—it’s a milestone for every student, school, and martial arts fan inspired by his journey.
