Get ready for an explosive night of boxing! On Saturday, March 28, rising star Elijah Garcia will face veteran contender Kevin Newman II. This 10-round super middleweight main event highlights a thrilling three-fight lineup on Prime Video. Fans can stream this action live and completely free before the highly anticipated PBC Pay-Per-View event. The broadcast kicks off at 5:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event is promoted by TGB Promotions and Sampson Boxing.
Elijah Garcia vs. Kevin Newman II: A Super Middleweight Clash
At just 22 years old, Elijah Garcia is already a boxing sensation. Holding a record of 17-1 with 13 KOs, he is officially making his debut at the full super middleweight limit. Recently, Garcia bounced back onto the winning track with a hard-fought split-decision victory over Terrell Gausha.
“I am excited to headline on Prime Video on March 28,” Garcia said. “I am training hard, and I can’t wait to show everything I’ve been working on, taking advantage of this great opportunity to send a strong message in the super middleweight division.”
However, standing in his way is the resilient Kevin Newman II. Originating from Los Angeles, the 34-year-old Newman (18-3-1, 11 KOs) rides an impressive seven-fight winning streak into this matchup. Consequently, this clash promises heavy hits as hungry youth meets veteran experience.
Kaipo Gallegos vs. Julian Gonzalez: The Teenage Sensation Steps Up
Meanwhile, the lightweight division will see fireworks in an exciting 10-round attraction. Undefeated 19-year-old prodigy Kaipo Gallegos (11-0-1, 9 KOs) is eager to put on a show in his hometown of Las Vegas. Gallegos recently secured a dominant TKO victory in early 2026 over the also-undefeated Wilson Akinocho. Stepping into the ring as a professional in Las Vegas for the fourth time on March 28, Gallegos has built his undefeated record following a strong amateur career that included reaching the finals of the U.S. National Championships in 2021 and 2022.
“I am very grateful for this opportunity to fight in my hometown,” Gallegos said. “This is an important fight for me and I am looking to make a statement, put on a great show for the fans, and defend my home. I know I am facing a good opponent who is coming to take my undefeated record, but we are more than ready for any challenge we have to overcome. My goal is to be a world champion, and Gonzalez is not going to stop me.”
On the other hand, 24-year-old Julian Gonzalez (16-1-1, 12 KOs) is hungry for redemption and will return to the ring after suffering his first professional defeat, which came by split decision against Jason Sanchez last June. The loss snapped a 10-fight winning streak that Gonzalez had maintained since the only other blemish on his record: a majority draw against Ivan Jimenez in 2022. It will be the first time Gonzalez competes in Las Vegas as a professional when he steps into the ring on March 28.
“I can’t wait for March 28,” Gonzalez said. “I think it will be an exciting fight and a great night for me. I have adjusted some details, and I believe that will play a major role against Gallegos. The MGM Grand is one of the venues I have always dreamed of fighting at since I was young, and I can’t wait to get out there and put on a great show.”
Brayan Gonzalez vs. Brandon Guerrero: Undefeated Prospect Opens the Show
Kicking off the live stream is an exciting six-round featherweight bout. Undefeated prospect Brayan Gonzalez (4-0, 3 KOs) continues his steady rise in the boxing world and remains undefeated in four fights since turning professional in June 2024, in a match that also took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Following a distinguished amateur career in Phoenix, Arizona, Gonzalez had two successful outings in 2025, both ending in victories before the final bell. Most recently, he defeated the then-undefeated Osiel Flores in the third round this past May.
In contrast, his Mexican opponent, Brandon Guerrero (7-4), brings crucial ring experience, the 26 year old has faced undefeated opponents in five of his last six matches, including an upset decision victory over Kevin Ayala in March 2025. Representing his native Morelia, Guerrero turned professional in January 2020 and secured victories in his first five fights. Most recently, Guerrero challenged the undefeated Sachery Sam in December, falling by decision after six rounds.
