UNF 36
Up Next Fighting brought the heat to Commerce, California, on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The promotion set up shop inside the Commerce Casino for UNF 36, headlined by the Rising Stars Featherweight Championship. Seventeen bouts filled out the card from top to bottom. Fans caught the early prelims for free on the UNF YouTube channel before switching over to the Starfund.stream pay-per-view for the main card.
Garibay Finishes Undefeated Kamo Grigoryan
Moises Garibay and Kamo Grigoryan didn’t waste any time feeling each other out in the main event. Grigoryan walked into the cage protecting a clean 6-0 record, while Garibay brought a gritty 5-1 mark and a lot of confidence. They stood in the pocket and traded heavy leather right from the opening bell. It was an aggressive, high-paced scrap where neither guy wanted to give an inch.
A Third-Round Stoppage Crowns a New Champ
The breakthrough came for Garibay in the third round. He poured on the pressure, trapping Grigoryan until the referee had seen enough and waved off the fight. The official stoppage came at the 1:16 mark of Round 3. Just like that,Garibay ruined Grigoryan’s undefeated run and wrapped the UNF Featherweight strap around his own waist.
Looking Back at Garibay’s Early Pro Run
Winning gold at UNF 36 didn’t happen overnight for Garibay. He turned pro back in April 2024 at Proving Grounds MMA, where he blew through Moses Bammert for a first-round TKO in just 86 seconds. By September 2024, he made his promotional debut at UNF 20 and took home a clear unanimous decision over Axel Conrad.
The Grind to the Title Shot
After a frustrating stretch in 2025 that saw two fights fall through, Garibay got back to work that October at King of the Cage, beating Andrew Cerros on the scorecards. He hit a brief bump in the road at UNF 30 in January 2026, dropping a tough decision to Attila Errett.
Still, he shook off the loss fast. Back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Jiquelill Jordan at UNF 33 in May and Chris Martinez at UNF 35 in August locked in his title shot—and on Saturday night, he made it count.
