Longtime women’s MMA veteran Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc (10-10) announced that she will return to action for the first time this year when she faces off with Stephanie Skinner (4-9) in the main event of a Peak Fighting Championship event in Tulsa, Okla. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The fight will be offered as a live streaming pay-per-view on the promotion’s website and app.
The 37-year-old Rivera, who was born in Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico and raised in Tulsa, is an 18-year veteran of professional MMA.
Rivera last saw action at a Combate Global event on July 16, 2023, when she defeated Mexico’s Elizabeth Avila by split decision.
Rivera’s opponent, Skinner, 34, will also fight for the first time in 2024. Fighting out of Riverton, Wyoming, is looking to rebound from two straight MMA losses.
