CMLL Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026
It is a massive week for lucha libre fans. On Tuesday, October 20, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) dropped the full card for the CMLL Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026 on social media. The show goes down this Friday, October 23, and the promotion isn’t holding anything back. Alongside the signature tournament, heavy hitters like Máscara Dorada and Último Guerrero are also booked for the event.
Team CMLL vs. Team World Takes Center Stage
Everything builds toward the annual CMLL Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026 elimination match. Eleven of Mexico’s best will defend their home ring against eleven international challengers. With both sides stacked from top to bottom, the clash of styles alone should make this worth the watch.
Team CMLL Roster:
- Skadi
- Tessa Blanchard
- Olympia
- Persephone
- Kira
- India Sioux
- Garra Negra
- Lluvia
- Thunder Rosa
- Keyra
- Zeuxis
Team World Roster:
- Queen Aminata
- Megan Bayne
- Harley Cameron
- Marina Shafir
- Momo Watanabe
- AZM
- Miyu Amasaki
- Mei Seira
- Masha Slamovich
- Emersyn Jayne
- Alice Crowley
Look at that visiting squad. It mixes sheer bruisers like Megan Bayne and Masha Slamovich with the blurring speed of STARDOM’s AZM and Momo Watanabe. Still, the home team isn’t backing down. Team CMLL has its own mix of ring generals and brawlers, plus huge wildcards in Thunder Rosa and Tessa Blanchard. Honestly, picking a winner right now is a coin toss.
Heavyweights and High-Flyers Fill the Undercard
Even before the main event bell rings, Friday’s broadcast has plenty to offer. CMLL stacked the undercard with four bouts that mix bitter rivalries with pure high-flying spectacle.
Here is how the rest of the October 23 card shakes out:
- Tag Team Lightning Match: Último Guerrero & Gran Guerrero vs. Averno & Euforia
- Trios Match: Máscara Dorada, Brillante Jr. & Rey Pegasus vs. Soberano Jr., Calavera Jr. I & Calavera Jr. II
- Singles Lightning Match: Star Jr. vs. Yutani
- Opening Tag Team Match: Volcano & Dulce Gardenia vs. Estudiante Jr. & Robin
The real sleeper hit here might be Los Guerreros Laguneros taking on Averno and Euforia. Because it is a Lightning Match, these four heavyweights only get ten minutes to beat each other senseless. That strict time limit always forces a frantic pace. Earlier in the night, you also get Máscara Dorada and Soberano Jr. across the ring from one another again. Whenever those two share a ring, they end up stealing the show.
