The UFC Edmonton card continues to take shape. A middleweight bout between Gilbert Urbina and Julien LeBlanc is the newest addition.
The fight was announced by the organization on Monday afternoon.
Urbina will look for some stability after a complex phase between 2021 and 2025. The Texas native is coming off knocking out Vlasto Čepo in just over 60 seconds at UFC Belgrade. The victory ended a two-fight losing streak.
LeBlanc will seek his first victory in the octagon. In his debut, he was finished by Robert Valentin at UFC Winnipeg.
The loss ended a five-fight winning streak. The Gatineau native is known for being a former champion of Samourai MMA, one of the most prominent organizations in Canadian MMA.
UFC Edmonton will take place this coming October 17th at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada.
