The long wait is finally over. Ultimate Combat Challenge returns to Guayaquil, Ecuador, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Fans will witness the most extreme combat sports event ever to hit the city. Expect thrilling amateur and professional fights in Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing, and Boxing.
A Legacy of Epic Fights
Pancho Bajaña successfully leads this massive charge for the fans. As the event organizer and head coach of 8 Armas Team, he knows how to deliver. He previously launched Liga De Fuego in October 2024. That massive event featured 70 intense international bouts. Later, the amazing ninth edition in August 2025 hosted over 120 fights. Top competitors arrived from Panama, Chile, Peru, Honduras, and Colombia to battle for glory.
Despite Ecuador facing tough times with violence and rolling blackouts, Bajaña brings immense hope. A former professional athlete, he helped shape Ecuadorian combat sports and served on the sports commission.
“What these athletes need is hope, a chance to get out and shine,” Bajaña explained. His goal is to build true motivation and confidence.
Joining Forces for True Greatness
In October 2025, Bajaña partnered with Ramfis Isaacs, the visionary CEO and founder of UCC in Panama. This powerful alliance aims to widen borders for regional fighters. Isaacs currently leads the largest combat sports promoter in the area. His impressive resume boasts over a hundred successful broadcasts across Panama, Honduras, El Salvador, and Colombia.
Coming from the television industry, Isaacs always dreamed of creating professionally produced fight events. Today, he continues to raise the bar for international combat sports production.
Step Inside the Fighting Cage
The highly anticipated epic showdown builds up this coming May. Event organizers are currently taking online submissions from eager fighters. They want interested athletes and training gyms to quickly join the action.
“We are looking for talented athletes who would absolutely love to leave it all inside the fighting cage,” Bajaña proudly added.
