OFL XVI
OFL continues to make history. First, it became the first MMA event to air in prime time on TVN. Now, its 16th edition will feature an added bonus. The fight card will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of Chilevisión, one of the largest free-to-air television networks in Chile.
On the afternoon of Saturday the 21st, starting at 5:30 PM, Enjoy Santiago will broadcast a high-level event featuring a total of 9 bouts, 3 with title belts on the line.
Featherweight glory on the line
The promotion, based in Santiago, Chile, has established itself as one of the most important platforms for the development of MMA in the country and the region.
The OFL has established itself as the premier showcase for Latin American MMA, and this fight card reflects that. We are bringing together talent from several countries, with three belts on the line and top-tier production, so that fans can enjoy a unique experience,” stated Mauro Castro, general producer of the OFL.
In the main event, Chilean fighter Fabrizio Pincheira will face the experienced Brazilian Israel Figueira for the South South American featherweight title (145 pounds): a matchup that promises intensity and a high level of competition.
The Co-Main
In the co-main event, Chilean representative Valentina Escobar will face Brazilian Sthefanie Oliveira for the South American strawweight title (115 pounds).
The event will also feature a clash between two prominent figures in Chilean MMA: Matías Vásquez and Gastón Gómez Manzur, who will compete for the ‘Maldito Dios de la Guerra’ belt—an accolade that highlights the winner’s career, courage, and fighting spirit.
This award pays tribute to the fiercest fighters on the circuit and is inspired by the iconic BMF belt of the UFC, the world’s premier MMA promotion.
Four nations, 10 fights
Both Escobar and Pincheira will step into the cage representing Temuco’s Elemental Dojo.
Both will face standout Brazilian opponents: Oliveira, the current Karate Combat world champion representing team Familia Ribas, and Figueira, a member of the renowned Fighting Nerds team.
Both Brazilian gyms boast standout fighters in the UFC.
This fight card features top-tier bouts and international matchups that could shape the future for several of these athletes. There is a lot of emerging talent and veteran fighters coming in to prove why the OFL is establishing itself as one of the premier mixed martial arts platforms in the region,” commented Francisco Martínez, the event’s sports producer.
In total, there will be 9 professional bouts representing four countries—Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and Venezuela—setting the stage for a night that promises entertainment, high-level technique, and excitement in one of the continent’s premier MMA showcases.
Tickets are now available through Ticketplus. The event can also be watched live starting at 5:30 PM on the official OFL and Chilevisión YouTube channels.
