OFL XVI
This coming March 21st, the OFL cage will ignite once again with the 16th edition of one of South America’s premier Mixed Martial Arts organizations, which this time will arrive at Enjoy Santiago for an action-packed night with three belts on the line.
Featherweight Glory on the Line
The promotion, based in Santiago, Chile, has established itself as one of the most important platforms for the development of MMA in the country and the region.
‘OFL has cemented itself as the premier showcase for Latin American MMA, and this fight card reflects that. We are bringing together talent from various countries, three belts up for grabs, and a top-tier production so that fans can enjoy a unique experience,’ stated Mauro Castro, general producer of OFL.
In the main event, Chilean fighter Fabrizio Pincheira will take on the experienced Brazilian Israel Figueira for the South American Featherweight (145 pounds) title: a matchup that promises intensity and a high level of competition.
Th Co-Main
In the co-main event, national representative Valentina Escobar will face Brazilian Sthefanie Oliveira for the South American Strawweight (115 pounds) title.
The evening will also feature a clash between two standout figures in Chilean MMA: Matías Vásquez and Gastón Gómez Manzur, who will compete for the ‘Maldito Dios de la Guerra’ (Damned God of War) belt, an award that highlights the career, courage, and fighting spirit of the victor.
This accolade pays tribute to the fiercest fighters on the circuit and is inspired by the iconic BMF belt of the UFC, the world’s premier MMA promotion.
Four Nations, 10 Fights
Both Escobar and Pincheira will step into the cage representing Elemental Dojo out of Temuco. They will both face outstanding Brazilian opponents: Oliveira, the current Karate Combat world champion representing the Ribas Family team, and Figueira, a member of the renowned Fighting Nerds team. Both of these Brazilian gyms feature prominent fighters in the UFC.
“This fight card features top-tier fights and international matchups that could shape the future for several athletes. There is a lot of emerging talent and experienced fighters coming to prove why OFL is positioning itself as one of the most important mixed martial arts platforms in the region,” commented Francisco Martínez, the event’s sports producer.
In total, there will be 10 professional fights representing four countries—Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and Venezuela—bringing to life a night that promises spectacle, technique, and excitement in one of the continent’s premier MMA showcases.
Tickets are currently available through Ticketplus. The event can also be streamed live starting at 5:30 PM via the official OFL YouTube channel.
