Fight fans, mark your calendars. The Æternum Fight League is heading back to the State of Mexico on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Taking over the Plaza Mexicana (AIFA) in Santa Lucía, Æternum 2 is shaping up to be a wild night of mixed martial arts, and the local MMA community is already buzzing about the card.
A Rivalry Years in the Making
While the rest of the lineup looks solid, everyone is talking about the Nicole Geraldo vs Nadia Vera showdown. Geraldo, representing CDMX, steps into the cage with an impressive 7-2 professional record. Across from her is Nadia Vera out of Mexico City’s Bonebreakers MMA, who brings a gritty 7-5-1 resume. But the numbers really only tell half the story of this 115-pound matchup.
Settling an Old Score
Geraldo and Vera actually share quite a bit of history. They first threw down back in May 2019 as amateurs at the IMMAF PAN American Championships. Vera edged out a tight split decision that night. Seven years later, they are finally crossing paths again, this time as pros under the bright lights. Geraldo is undoubtedly hunting for payback, while Vera wants to prove her first win was no fluke.
Riding High into Fight Night
Both fighters are stepping in with the wind at their backs. Geraldo just grinded out a tough unanimous decision against Diana Ramírez at MFL 4. Vera, on the flip side, is coming off a brutal first-round TKO via knees against Ariadne Uriega at Æternum 1. Given what is on the line, neither woman is looking to leave this one in the hands of the judges.
