Brandon Moreno
Pedro Taduran vs. Brandon Moreno goes down this Saturday, November 7, and the stakes couldn’t be much higher.Right now, Pedro “The General” Taduran stands alone as the only reigning boxing world champion from the Philippines. Every time he steps through the ropes, he carries the expectations of a fight-crazed nation on his shoulders. This weekend, he puts his IBF Mini Flyweight belt on the line against unbeaten mandatory challenger Brandon Moreno. The fight headlines a live card from Albuquerque’s Kiva Auditorium on the Wynn Records Network.
A Historic Night for Philippine Boxing and Streaming
Saturday’s headliner is a big milestone for the Wynn Records Network, marking the new platform’s very first men’s world title fight. Since the network is looking to build a loyal fanbase overseas, viewers tuning in from the Philippines will get the stream at a special discounted price. Powered by Kiswe, the broadcast kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m.MT) on watch.wynnrecordsnetwork.com, and you can also pull it up on most major smart TVs and mobile devices.
Once the Wynn Records Network portion of the night wraps up, the cameras stay right there in Albuquerque. At 8:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. MT), a four-fight DAZN Big Time Boxing broadcast takes over the ring. Local favorite Abraham Perez tops that second bill, making the first defense of his WBA Interim Flyweight title against Yankiel Rivera.
Pedro Taduran Carries the Torch for the Philippines
Fighting out of Paranaque City, 29-year-old southpaw Pedro Taduran (20-4-1, 14 KOs) has been on a serious roll lately.Backed for years by his legendary countryman Manny Pacquiao, Taduran won back his old IBF belt in 2024 by stopping previously undefeated Ginjiro Shigeoka in nine rounds. He hasn’t slowed down since. In 2025, he edged out Shigeoka in an immediate rematch and handed Christian Balunan his first loss, before knocking out Gustavo Perez Alvarez in seven rounds this past April.
Taduran also just inked a multi-fight promotional deal with Salita Promotions, teaming up with Knuckleheads Boxing and Wynn Records. He originally had his eye on a 2027 unification bout with WBO champ Oscar Collazo, though Collazo officially vacated that belt on Monday. For now, Taduran’s only job is handling business on Saturday night.
“I’m very excited that I am making my second appearance in the United States defending my IBF World Title against my mandatory challenger Brandon Moreno,” Taduran said. He also made sure to thank his promoters at Knucklehead Boxing and Salita Promotions, adding that he hopes fans back home in the Philippines tune in on the Wynn Records Network.
Unbeaten Brandon Moreno Chases Spanish Boxing History
Across the ring stands 33-year-old Brandon Moreno (16-0, 5 KOs) out of Madrid. Currently sitting at No. 4 in the IBF’s 105-pound rankings, Moreno has collected a solid stack of regional hardware over the years, including the WBC Latino strap. Saturday will be his first pro fight outside of Spain. More than anything, he wants to end a national drought and become Spain’s first boxing world champion since Kiko Martinez held the IBF featherweight title back in 2022.
“It’s a dream come true for me to compete for a world championship in the United States,” Moreno said. He gave Taduran plenty of credit as the best fighter in the division, but made it clear he didn’t fly across the Atlantic just to collect a paycheck. “Saturday will be my big night. I can’t let this great opportunity slip away.”
Stacked Undercard Action to Watch on Saturday
Before the Pedro Taduran vs. Brandon Moreno main event hits the ring, the Wynn Records Network undercard has a few intriguing matchups worth keeping an eye on:
