Pedro Angel Cruz vs Roberto Almazan
Northern California fight fans get ready for an explosive night of professional boxing! On Saturday, November 7, 2026, G1 Promotions rolls into the historic Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium with the biggest boxing card NorCal has seen all year.Headlining the night is a clash that promises fireworks from the opening bell: Pedro Angel Cruz vs Roberto Almazan.
Cruz Rides a Red-Hot Four-Fight Win Streak
Fighting out of nearby San Jose, Pedro “Zurdo de Oro” Angel Cruz steps through the ropes with serious wind at his back. His 7-6-0 pro record doesn’t tell the whole story—he has completely turned a corner since March 2025, stringing together four straight victories. That run started with a unanimous decision over Luciano Ramos before Cruz really found his spite in early 2026, blowing out both Jimmie Nunez and Angel Estrada via first-round TKO. After outpointing Miguel Soto-Garcia on September 12, the hard-hitting southpaw is looking to bring that same relentless pressure to a raucous home-state crowd.
Texas Vet Roberto Almazan Brings Pure Grit
Waiting in the opposite corner is a true road warrior from Brownsville, Texas. Roberto “R15” Almazan owns a 14-30-1 ledger, a record forged by taking on anyone and everyone. Over the years, he has shared the ring with elite names like Gary Antuanne Russell, Floyd Schofield, and Amado Vargas. He hasn’t slowed down in 2026, either. Almazan picked up a clean unanimous decision over Roberto Pina in July and went to the cards in a tough majority decision loss against Travis Crawford in September. He knows every veteran trick in the book and loves dragging younger fighters into deep waters to trade leather.
