Predador Fight Championship returns to Cancún on October 31 for its 49th edition, bringing an international card, three championship fights and a meaningful night for the promotion as it continues building toward its next stage.
The event will take place at Poliforum Cancún, with the organization once again looking to give Mexican fighters the opportunity to compete against international opposition and showcase local talent on a bigger stage.
Three titles on the line
Predador FC 49 will feature three championship bouts as part of a card built around international matchups.
According to the organization, one of the main goals of this edition is to give Mexican fighters the opportunity to challenge for belts brought in by international competitors, particularly fighters from Brazil.
The event continues Predador’s connection with both Mexico and Brazil while creating more opportunities for regional athletes to compete in important matchups at home.
A special night for the Predador family
Beyond the action inside the cage, the 49th edition will also carry a special meaning for the promotion.
The event will honor the memory and legacy of Alex Renner, founder of Predador Fight Championship, making the night an important moment for the organization, its athletes and the people who have been part of its history.
As Predador approaches its 50th edition, the event in Cancún also represents an opportunity to recognize the promotion’s roots while continuing to build toward the future.
Montserrat Rendón gets her moment at home
One of the main names on the card will be Montserrat “The Monster” Rendón, who will compete for one of the championships in front of her home crowd.
Her appearance also brings an unfinished story full circle.
Rendón had previously been scheduled to compete for Predador, but that fight did not take place after she signed with the UFC shortly before the event.
Now, she will finally have the opportunity to step into the Predador cage in Cancún and compete for a title at home.
Predador FC looks toward new markets
Predador FC is also beginning to look beyond Cancún as the organization considers its next stages of growth.
Organizers told Fajador that Buenos Aires, Bogotá and northern Mexico are among the locations currently being considered for future events.
Those plans reflect the promotion’s intention to continue expanding its presence across Latin America while creating more opportunities for fighters throughout the region.
With three titles on the line, international matchups, local talent and a meaningful night for the organization, Predador FC 49 represents another important chapter for the promotion as it moves closer to its milestone 50th edition.
