Seahawks Host David Benavidez
The football and boxing worlds beautifully merged this Thursday. The Super Bowl champions Seattle Seahawks happily opened their training doors to undefeated WBC champion David Benavidez.
The Seattle native enjoyed a truly unique experience at the incredible facility. He watched the team practice up close. Benavidez witnessed the fierce dedication that made Seattle the reigning Super Bowl LX champions. He clearly saw why they are an elite NFL powerhouse.
Swapping Skills On The Turf
After practice, Benavidez met with star quarterback Sam Darnold, talented linebacker Derick Hall, and head coach Mike Macdonald. They eagerly shared insights on preparation, perseverance, and building a true championship mentality.
Benavidez even taught Hall some quick shadowboxing moves. In return, the linebacker shared highly valuable football techniques.
Hall absolutely loved the crossover.
“It is great having two champions from different sports. Shadowboxing with him is a uniquely wild experience. His strong mindset mirrors ours, always relentlessly chasing greatness. It was a deeply special moment,” Hall proudly explained.
A Legendary Gift Exchange
Showing deep mutual respect, Benavidez gifted the Seahawks a custom WBC championship belt. This stunning belt directly celebrated the team’s iconic Super Bowl LX victory. It perfectly bridged the gap between professional boxing and professional football.
In return, Seattle warmly welcomed Benavidez to the family. They gave him a customized jersey featuring his last name and the famous number twelve. This beautifully honors Seattle’s fiercely loyal, legendary fan base.
