Jake Paul leaves the door open for Jon Jones to join Most Valuable Promotions if he completes the terms of his UFC contract..
“Bones” is in the middle of a dispute with the UFC following conflicting reports regarding his presence on the UFC White House card.
After the former heavyweight champion publicly requested the termination of his UFC contract, Paul didn’t hesitate to welcome ‘Bones’ to MVP. ‘The Problem Child’ promised to pay him what he deserves.
“100% Jones, you are always welcome at MVP,” Paul told Netflix Sports. “We will pay you what you deserve.”
Jones held the heavyweight belt for about a year, while Dana White promised that he could face the interim champion, Tom Aspinall.
But Jones retired in June 2025 without ever finalizing the fight with Aspinall. The plans for the White House card emerged weeks after his retirement.
The former two-division champion returned to the anti-doping testing pool and has been seeking to finalize his presence on the historic card.
Although White was always skeptical about Jones being on the card, the subject was always present. When the card was finally announced on Saturday night, ‘Bones’ was not part of it.
While Dana White asserts that he was never under consideration, the former champion did not hesitate to respond to those statements, confirming that he was indeed in negotiations with the UFC.
Following the response from the UFC president, Jones publicly requested his release from his UFC contract.
